Welcome to Aquaponics HQ.. Glad to have you with us on the forum.
A swimming pool ? That's a lot of water you will need some serious space for growbeds. There are many ratios for growbed to tank most common is 2:1. To get this to work you will need to build serious mechanical filtration that way the growbed ratio is not so important. But even with that you will still need a lot of growbeds. How big is this indoor pool ? Harvesting fish is going to be very difficult unless you create compartments in the pool, I guess if you create floating cages in the pool that maybe an easy way to manage it.. really interested in how you plan on doing this project..
All system tests are now recorded at http://aquaponics.scorched-revolution.com/ So if you are interested in my system tests. go there
Howdy Mccann,
What kind of system were you thinking? Pugo is right on the money, that's a lot of growbed space! Is it an inground pool with a deep end? Glad there's more local interest in AP![]()

Hi McCann,
Welcome to APHQ.
There are many ways to integrate a swimming pool into a backyard food production system.
We've discussed such a strategy in this thread......and others.
