Got to see the Epcot Center the other day at Walt Disney World

I'm down here in Florida to visit the parents and got them to drive me over to the Epcot center at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Anyway it was impressive but we were pushed through so rapidly on a car that was propelled through the water it was difficult to get a good look. I understand why due to the amount of people but it was a little disappointing. There was an option to get a behind the scenes look for an additional $18.00 which I declined. I was a little honked as I was told there were no additonal fees after the entry fee. Besides if it was typical of the large aquariums I've visited the spokesman usually dosen't know squat. If you ask the a simple question such as what kind of biofiltration they they look at you dumb founded. I'll post pics after I get home if anyone is interested.

EPCOT certainly seems to be impressive (I've only seen pictures).....and it's a grand example of what can be done if money is no object.

The bloke who set it up (and still manages it) is partnering with James Rakocy and Wilson Lennard to do a Commercial Aquaponics course in Florida (in March I think).

I've also got a heap of photos of EPCOT (given to me by a fried).....but put some of yours up, too.

Wow Gary those are much nicer pictures than I have and pretty much the same thing. Mine are on still on a disk and the wife has to show the techno challenged me how to get them on the computer and posted.

Seriously, post up pics! I went through that thing and I believe it is where I got my aquaponic bug.
I even built a pvc stand to help vertically grow my plants.

I'm waiting for the wife to load the disk on her computer so I can do so on mine. It's a long story but my present computer is temporary and very old.

These are from Epcot 2008. It says these are just hydroponic but the plant management is the same.
