    Tilapia Stopped Breeding

About 6 mo ago, I had 3 broods of Red Tilapia, from the original 100, then they stopped breeding, I suspect it was water chemistry, plants weren't growing, Got API kit, waters fine now, lettuce growing well now, DO ok, feeding a variety of foods they eat, look well. I have about 150, from 1.3 yr old to about 6 mo, sizes as should be.
    Tank is about 3m x 3m ,1 m deep.
Why, what can I do to seduce them?

I read where too low of oxygen, for a while can cause lasting damage to fish, don't remember specifically what it damages, sex?
Except for suicides, they don't die.
There were times in past when running manually, pump wouldn't get run at night , low DO, those fish were sucking air in the morning.

    Re: Tilapia Stopped Breeding

If they are over crowed the will not be able to control an area of the tank to breed. There are lots of little reason Tilapia will not breed, You should setup a breeding tank one male and maybe four females. That would help you a great deal in your attempt to propagate the species.
