    I've had my unit trip a couple of times due to power interruptions and all seems to work well. I'm using a couple of mag drive pumps from AES. The school has a couple of Easy Pro pumps from Stoney Creek that can be used for fountains etc.
    Mag drive pumps have seemed to work just fine. It's some high efficiency centrifugal pumps that seem to struggle. They mostly use 48 frame 1/8 HP AE Smith motors (which are possibly the most widely used for these types of pumps in the US). The offenders will hum loudly, pump about half the normal volume and get really hot. It's not for lack of startup juice. Those tripp lites have plenty to spare. I also had a larger volume linear piston air pump that really disliked being on it.

    I think if you are using mag style pumps all will probably go well.
