    silencing bell syphons

as my three bell syphons fill and drain 4 times an hour each, 12 times total
i have tried to reduce the noise of the gushing water by using the set up in the photos
it works ok had to reset the water flow but is now a lot quieter
probably gone to far with parts etc but had fun trying

    Re: silencing bell syphons

I built a continuous flow system, so noise isn't a issue for me.. It never disturbs my neighbors you can't hear it running at all. But I did have to build a filtration system to compensate for not using the growbeds as a bio-filter.
All system tests are now recorded at http://aquaponics.scorched-revolution.com/ So if you are interested in my system tests. go there

    Look at my tread (picture).
You don't need "T" , just drill a hole on elbow ad insert hose.
    No noise at all.
    Ninja style .
