What if you put a pump in protein skimmer waste bucket and pump it out to your plant bed. The bed will flow back to the waste bucket. The fish water to plant bed ratio will be different. You can have a big pond and as many beds you want. I kind of testing the water right now. To see if the plants can handle the nitrogen cycle water waste. The nitrogen cycle water is 75% waste out of my koi pond. Will this work???
