Sorry Guys, I did not forgot about my Idea - Just hectic at work at the moment
Hi Guys..... I know it is along time since my last post. Just tied up with other commitments at the moment. Just wondering did any of the forum members ever tried to incorporate a biodigester (methane) in to a AP system?
Hi Johan,
Why would you want to incorporate a bio-digester into an AP system?
Please don't see my question as a challenge......I'm just trying to determine what you are trying to achieve in order to be better able to advise you.

Hi GaryD
Thanks for your reply.... No I don't see it as a challenge......
Just toying with the idea, can't a person mix the sludge from a settlement tank with the manure of pigs and produce methane in a bio-digester?
At the end of the day produce your own food and own energy to cook it with.
Thanks
Johan
Hi Johan,
I wasn't aware that you had pigs......that's an entirely different matter.
Pig manure mixed with fish wastes would certainly run a bio-digester. The question is whether you have enough pig manure to get useful quantities of gas. Even without enough gas to run your house, the digested slurry makes a wonderful soil conditioner.
Your other option is to use the pig manure to rear black soldier fly larvae......more pig and chicken food.
