    Vidar - foreigner in Philippines

    Hello guys and gals.
My name is Vidar , im a Norwegian guy, living and studying in Manila, Philippines.
I grew up as a farmers son, and have never quite forgotten my roots, not the interest of farming.. i just never took to the traditional ways of farming... sow, weed, wait...
I have been dabbling with hydroponics theory for a while, and designed a few systems which ( an electrical engineering friend of mine verified it) i know would work. Nothing fancy but it keeps me busy...
A few days ago i found the concept of Aquaphonics, and the pieces of my puzzle came together .... so now im here, hoping to learn from you all, ask ( silly, but .. her its how i learn ) questions, and hopefully come up wth a concept which will help my filipino family become self sufficient first, then, go into corporate (small first) agriculture here....

oh im sure there are plenty of people doing it already.. but as many foreigners will see... once something is successful, a lot of people want to do it, and as a consequence of that.. many of those who do it, stops sharing :P ..
Thats why i have found forums to be such a fantastic wealth of information

We all came here to ask silly questions. And we stay to ask more silly questions while answering other people's silly questions that we've already learned the answers to. If no one were asking or learning anything, there would be no need for the forum at all.

    Welcome!

    Hi Valerian,

    Welcome to AHPQ.

I share your enthusiasm for tolerance when it comes to dealing with the questions (and foibles) of other forum members.

There's only room for tolerant people on this forum. (are you hearing me Nelson?).
