Hello to all,

My name is Stephen, I own and manage Aquatic Oasis based at Capalaba in Queensland. I have been in the water industry for over 14 years. I worked at PPI Corporation (one of Australia's largest irrigation companies) in a variety of positions, mainly in the R&D Dept. My main responsibilities were testing products including Quality Assurance compliance.

About 9 years ago i purchased a small hydroponic store, which now is one of the biggest in Queensland. Over the years we have divesified our business to include hydroponics, irrigation, ponds, rain water tanks and accesories, water features and more recentley aquaponics.

We have had many people come into our store over the years making enquires about Aquaponics. At the time we knew very little about how it all worked but after plenty of research we now have a far better understanding. The major thing that i picked up was that most of the knowledge we already had, it was a case of thinking outside the sqare and combining them togeather.

I have now been officially biten by the aquaponics bug. The more and more that i researched, i found that my desire to try my hand at aquaponics increased. I have recently purchased one of Murray's new balcony kits to set up as an in store display. Murray has been a wonderful help to us and we appreciate his help immensely.
