    Gary,

They look great. I can see that the tank is a 2000l, how many Jades are there and what is their mass?

How many other fish do you keep. I follow many of your threads and you are obviously addicted. From your elaborate systems I figure firstly you have a very tolerant spouse and lots of fish and grow beds?

    Re: Jade Perch

    Hi Chris,

The tank is a 1000 litre fibreglass unit manufactured by Murray. It currently holds about 700 litres of water and supports 39 Jade Perch of 600+ grams each. We're gradually eating the perch.

I've got another 87 juvenile Jade perch in another system. They're about 175mm long......and we've made up a fingerling tank to accommodate 100 Murray cod fingerlings (due any day now).

We specialise in the development of backyard food production systems (of all types) so things are always changing around here.

My partner Jan and I have been engaged in micro-farming for over 30 years, so she's probably used to the pain by now.
