    Trading excess food/Fish

I run a Green Blog/info website in my spare time and i get approached by a lot of people/companies trying to get me to endorse their wares. I usually ignore them..

Recently however, I was approached by a guy who has set up a website that helps you get in contact with other people in your area that grow their own food as well. The idea is that any excess food can be bartered for other things you may not have have growing at the moment. It also has great scope to produce some interesting results.

Here is a link to my article about it, Screw You Supermarkets! (i am only posting it here to help my standing in Googles search), but this is the link to the actual site. Grow Local

    Hi Daniel,
I have followed the links and had a read of your blog. Good stuff.
I signed-up on the Grow Local site and attempted to send them an email from within their member area , but no luck. Anyway, I sent them one externally.

I will have some excess produce this summer for sure, so it is a good idea to barter/trade locally, however I wonder how it will actually work.
    It is worth a try.

    Thanks

Grow local is very new, only a few weeks old. I am sure there will be some teething problems. It DOES involve computers.

Not many people on it yet either, but hopefully that will change. Suggestions to new sites like that can help it to evolve to its full potential.

I hope it turns into something usable.
