I had some Burr Oak acorns I picked up last fall. They had fallen off of the tree in the front yard. I put them in bottom of the refrigerator over winter. Today I put one in a kitchen scrubber 'raft' and floated it in my 10 gal. fish tank. It's an 'established' aquarium with two small tropical fish (one molly and one platy).
So, do you think it will sprout?
What can I say, I'm bored and don't have any money to start my backyard system yet.
