    BIGDOG is alive and well

    Gday all,

I was living in FNQ when i discovered Aquaponics.....where I lived, (although I could catch Barra and mud crabs from the back veranda) I realized that I could not do what I wanted to.....and that was......
    Grow fish and vegies
    Grow chooks, ducks and rabbits.
Get a big dog. (he will live on the above)
    Get out of the heat.

So... sold up, drove 4,000ks south and found a great little town on the "Great Ocean Road" in Victoria. Then we found a great house with lots of sheds on 2 acres, fully fenced with good water.

Arrived here only 3 days ago and signed the contract today. (1st house we looked at). Now begins the long wait till settlement (5 weeks). We are living in a van so I guess we will have to go fishing for 5 weeks.....Oh well.

I have already started checking out the rural suppliers for tanks 'n' things.
We have an exciting time ahead.

    Cheers........Lindsay

    Hi BigDog,

Good to hear from you again.

FNQ to Great Ocean Road.......talk about from one extreme to the other. I must confess that, at this time every year, I begin to think of Tasmania (we live in Brisbane).

I look forward to hearing about your new system as it unfolds.
