    Silver Perch and Catfish Fingerlings in Melbourne available now.

    Hi! Just spoken to John Main of Glenwaters Native Fish.

    Can pick up fingerlings from him in Lilydale. I am going to pick mine up tomorrow.

    If you don't mind me asking what kind of catfish do you use in the land down under? Is it a native catfish?

    By all means buy them he has good stock just remember you will have to heat silvers to get them through there first year here in melbourne
    Its far better to get yearlings if they were available But i am pretty shore john does not have any

    I have some 60 Silvers in my pool now from 20 months ago. Did not heat the pool during past winters. Lost 2 last winter from white-itch. The rest seem to cope OK.

    Thanks for the link. Interesting fish that can reach a good size and is good to eat.

    Pools do not get as cool as ap setups
    If its free pick it up
