Well it has been a while since I have had time to get on to the forum. Back in September/October I purchased a kit from Murray and it is doing FINE....The fish have been in for four weeks now - growing fast and I have not had one loss (touch wood) even after the transportation from the SEQ fish farm. We have had many cucumbers and much lettuce and silverbeet from the system. The tomatoea are a bit slow at producing andf the zuccini were a copmplete failure. Basil, oregano and Thyme have provided me with enough matrerial for three jars each of fresh dried herbs for christmas presents. PH has stabelised at 7.2 ( probably a bit high but the fish are OK and the plants are loving it), and the amonia etc have also remained stable for the past three weeks. I have introduced the fish to tiny grasshoppers and small worms and duckweed - they love them. I have rigged up a compost/scraps box system thingy to see if we have any soldier flies in the yard before I go to the expense of getting a biopod. All this rain we have been having is wonderful, lets hope it keeps up for a while and puts some more water in the dams.
Anyhow
Hope you all had a merry xmas and have a great new year.
Wens

. It's true what you all say about this being addictive....I have already been looking around the back to see if I could re-arrange some things to fit in a small kitchen system.
