What has happened to my Japanese Cucumber plant

    Hi there,

After much reading on Aquaponics on this forum and other websites, I have setup a mini indoor system for about a month plus, growing japanese cucumber, chilli, butterhead lettuce and parsley plants. I have added iron/potassium supplements on a weekly basis into the system, however I notice discolouration on the japanese cucumber leaves (see photos attached), the discoloured portion is almost translucent/see through.

Can anyone kindly enlighten me what nutrient(s) are deficient?

    Thanks.

    From Singapore

Occurrence of target leaf spot disease caused by Corynespora cassicola on cucumber

    Maybe this may help?

Not sure... i would've gone with some kind of leaf mining insect to start with...so maybe leaf mining bacteria isn't too far from the mark?
