    Feather colour & taste

Does the meat taste different if the birds have brown, cream or white feathers?

    Re: Feather colour & taste

    Hi Gwen,

There is no difference in the taste of the meat based on feather colour.

Taste will, however, be affected by diet. Birds that consume greenfeed and other fresh natural foods will taste different to those that are raised on proprietary rations. Same with meat chickens.
