    Support Barrel Halves without Wood

I am getting a 150 gallon setup going and will use 6 half barrels. In this sub-tropical climate I simply do not want to use wood outside. How have others done it?

Would 1.25" PVC (maybe with 1.0" inside) be sufficient to handle the weight. I intend using LECA in most.

    Looking forward to any assistance.

I’m using the slotted metal angle that’s used for constructing shelving. It’s powder coated and works great as you can adjust the position so that the GB’s sit nicely. I’ll post a close-up picture when I get home but you can see a little of it in my post
