    Ashleys new CHOP System

Just started my new system.Didnt have much luck with the CHOP system so changed to pump supply.IT has proved to be more manageable for me going away for work/travel periods as the supply was not consistent. As the supply grilles blocked with fish waste the sumps would eventually run dry, didnt like this much at all(input not balancable with output). My 100 rainbow trout need very clean water heaps of oxygen ect and all is now running sweet.Ive also got 80 yabbies in total ,in fingerling tank and also in the sumps. Some vegies had to come from garden as my fingerlings were established in size and i needed immediate nutrient to be sucked up.All in all the system seems be running very well now with all the work been put in.7 mtr concrete x 100mm thick slab, polycarb sheeting enclosure, high density foam insulated tank ect ect.
