Just out of curiosity,
Regardless of wherever you are in the world, whether its summer, winter, etc.
....what seeds are you planting at the moment?

planted lettuce, dwarf beans, rocket, and spinach seeds direct into grow beds dont know how i will go about seperating them
Hi,
We're about to start some growing trials using direct seeding into clay pebble media.
Seedling production (for me at least) often falls victim to too much water......or none.....so a consistent and hassle-free means of producing seedlings is long overdue. While we have always grown some things ourselves, I still rely too heavily on seedlings purchased from hardware and nursery outlets.

has anybody tried those seeds you get in a ribbon i think it is covered in a starch substance which disolves, direct into the grow bed
Hi
We grow all our own seedlings either by planting in soil or sowing direct into the grow bed. My wife also transplants excess seedlings from the grow bed back into the soil garden. See attached photo for grow bed sown seedlings.
cheers

I have had some success sowing seeds in the growbed, But I still prefer to buy my seedlings rinse off the dirt a place them in the growbed.. it just works better for me..

Hi all
I have been planting seedling for my use.
I think it is safer as you know where the seedling is grown and how...
To close the loop you almost are forced to grow your own seedling...
With buying seedlings you never know what you could be introducing into the system
Yust me thinking
