Can anyone recomend an aquaponics or aquaculture course thru TAFE?

How hard is it to find work or work experince in the industry?

Darwin has a great Aquaculture teaching facility. Just have a hunt around on the net.
I did an intro course over 3 months at Tafe down here a couple years ago, very helpful to get a broad understanding.
There is a range of courses thru the Tafe system from 2 year Diploma (Cert 2 I think) to the full degree course.
As for work, knock on doors. It's a numbers game, the more people that say no, the closer you get to yes.

G'day Matt

At Belmont TAFE in Newcastle in NSW they run an aquaponics course and Aquaculture course the guy to contact is Greg email Greg.Waldron@tafe.nsw.edu.au for info. For work in the industry there is not a lot around at this point in time in aquaponics but aquaculture there is, just give it 2 or 3 years for aquaponics to take off. NSW fisheries takes work experanice students if you are in rolled in some sort of aquaculture course it is a fun place to work and live for a while. hope this has helped.
