Surge tank [2000L cattle trough 2m dia] joined to fish tank by 90mm pipe[1700L]
Grow beds,3x2000L cattle trough 2m dia cut down to 400mm high+ 1x1.5mfibreglass trough 400mm H
Pumps. FT grundfos unilift cc 380w .sump.optima 250w 140L/M air pump.Hiblow FP80 80l/m
History..15/1/09 first plants.fishless cycle seasol charlie carp urea.
21/1/90 first fish 16 goldfish .killed 7 with pump till addition of s/s screen
28/1/90 seemed to have cycled am 0 ni o na 40 ph 6
1/2/90 200 SP 10mm .Next 6 days lost 3 20 18 17 4 2 total 62 reason low ph no salt no hardness . Cure 5kg salt 1kg shellgrit 112gm pott bicarb 112gm f70 lime 110gm ph+ .seems to have worked no losses since.
