What about http://www.seqfish.com.au/ They are close to the Gold Coast and might have what you are after.
We spotted some duckweed growing wild as we walked our dog over a wooden bicycle track bridge near our home yesterday on the Sunshine Coast. Look around some of the small creeks in the Nature Reserves. The colony we saw was growing in stagnant waters through a canopy of filtered light. I think duckweed likes a rich nutrient feed. Some people think you shouldn't add wild duckweed into your AP system as you might introduce bad bugs and disease.
There might be something to this.
