I think that is a great idea.
Give it a go...it is a good thing to do.

We started GANRAD Global Aquaponics Network and Development. A not for profit organisation to further the interests of Aquaponics worldwide.
It is a properly incorporated "not for profit" association registered here in Australia.

It has not really got off the ground too well, (for now anyway) mainly because of the animosity and ridicule about it that came from the other forum and some quarters in the USA namely the Aquaponics Journal.

These people suffer from a bad case of "competitive anxiety"

I am sure you will have the knockers....but you will gradually uncover the genuine folk.

Go for it. Be persistent and you will ultimately win.

We will give you all the support possible on this forum.

thank you for your support, Murray

do you have any European members?

if so, could you address them directly about my initiative?

I am well aware that I will need all the support I can get

There ar a good number of members from Europe, I notice where they are from when each new member signs up and I approve their account. As the member list is disabled it is a bit difficult for me to see where people are from except at time of sign up.

People are funny, we have heaps of regular visitors to the forum that never sign up, then there are lots that sign up, log in regularly but never make a post.

I guess we will just keep reminding people about your project.

Hi Hygicell,

Here is a link to a European Aquaponics Society.
It is a very well built site.
You may already have come across it.

Take a look. (http://www.aquaponics.eu/index.htm)

Thats a terrific site Murray.
The author has simply but articulately explained the various AP systems with good examples in easy to understand language. Look forward to seeing his completed systems. This forum should be linked to that website too.
