Mangrove Jack at Sunland Fish Hatchery Boreen Point Qld. The Mangrove Jack is around 4 kg and is very tame. When you approach the tank he comes up to see if there is any food on offer.
Keep the fingers back from the surface ! They possibly look good for food !!!
Evidently Mangrove Jack can be raised easily in fresh water. I imagine they would be similar to Barra to raise. They only need to go out into the ocean in order to breed.
I have put my name down for some as soon as the Hatchery has some fingerllings to sell.
