Hi,
I have two Oase Biotec filters for sale........one is a 5.1 and the other is a 10.1.
If you're looking for filtration equipment for your aquaponics system......or your pond.....you'll find the prices attractive.
The 10.1 is $250 and the 5.1 is $150.
You can read more about the filters......here (http://www.creativepumps.com.au/zpumps/oase/filters/gravity_filters/oase_biotec_filters/oase_biotec_filters.htm).

Hi,
Some more information about the Biotec filters.....here (http://www.creativepumps.com.au/zpumps/oase/filters/gravity_filters/oase_biotec_filters/biotec_5.1_and_10.1/biotec5.1_and_10.1.htm).....and here (http://watergarden.com/catalog/oasa/Biotec5.1-10.1details.php).
You can see how they operate......here (http://www.clearpond.com.au/go/our-products&prodID=9157&catID=96&subCatID=35&mode=productDetails).
They weigh approximately 6kg for the 5.1 and 12kg for the 10.1......and the dimensions for each filter can be found here (http://creativepumps.com.au/zpumps/oase/filters/gravity_filters/oase_biotec_filters/oase_biotec_filters.htm).
Both units are new......one (I can't remember which) had a little water through when I was prototyping a previous system.
Both filters would be well-suited to a garden pond. Their size makes them perfect for use with small aquaponics systems in the 1000 (5.1) and 2000 (10.1) litre range.
They will capture all sedimentary solids and much of the suspended matter in an AP system. They would also function well as a polishing filter for a larger system.
I purchased them for a project that never materialised - and they are now surplus to requirements.
