Hahaha!! Sounds like some weird day spa treament for skin conditions!!
I am just waiting on funds to be able to start the building process that small set up is going well with no problems so far, other than the bok choy going to seed for some umknown reason but there is now the original cos, pumpkins, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers and silverbeet. I think it is getting a tad over loaded with plants and will have to move some of the plants out due to there just not being enough room for them all to get enough light!
But this small system has been great just to help get a grip on the way a larger system will work and what I will need for the larger system.
I'll post photos as soon as I can get them small enough

Hi Eri B,I read that your pics are too big,I made the same over sight when trying to post, the problem is with your camera i'd say,go to menu on your camera there should be image quality or something similar, select and you should see a list containing different pixel sizes or photo size, just select the preffered size and all future pics will in the right format to post, hope it works for you. bye Brett

Hi Erica,
I am a newbie to Aquaponics and I was looking at your thread. I really like the simple system you started and would like to start something small like that.
I was wondering if you could give me more details- (1) How does the water go from the fish tank to the plants? Do you have a pump or a timer or is it a continuous flow? (2) also your outflow from the plant tray - How did you build that.
I want to build a simple system to see how I do. I used to keep fish so I am fine with that, but plants don't seem to live long with me. I am working on it.
Lastly, I have a worm farm (which I started 3 months ago and is doing really well), do you know how much of worm tea I should use to get the nitrate cycle going?
How is your system going? Will you be upgrading?
