Hi all,
Would anybody knows of a paint shop that sells paint which is suitable for a fish pond? I mean that it's not poisonous for the fish. These fish are for consumption if you want to know. It will be nice if someone could help me around Melbourne or Canberra area. Hope you can help me. Thank you. Flor

Hi Flor,I just painted my sump with a product called "GRIPSET".I purchased it from mitre ten and it is a bitumen rubber paint, water based ,solvent free and safe for potable water which means it is also ok for the fishys.

Hi Flor, not discrediting the info that Bunya Boy has offered but I would probably steer away from using that product as it is not suitable for potable water,so if it is not safe for our drinking water it definately wouldnt do your fish too much good either, unless of course you dont intend to eat your fish.

Hi Bunya Boy, thanks for the very good information about PondTite. But I don't think it's the right stuff that I am looking for. The fish we try to grow in the pond is for human consumption and it's not just for ornamental purpose. Thank you very much anyway. Cheers Flor
For Brett: "Thanks for highlighting the fact that Bunya Boy's suggestion is not really the one we need". Thank you! thank you!
