Hi,

Gerry Marantelli, the Manager of the Amphibian Research Centre in Victoria, has emailed me with the following:

I am trying to find/buy BSFs I cannot seem to get access to them here from the wild (Melbourne) is there any way i can buy some from you to set up culture here? We are experienced in insect cultivation and will be happy to start with any life stage you or one of your members can supply. we have the necessary conditions here in our labs - just not the right climate outdoors to access wild BSFs. We grow a number of insect species to feed frogs grown for conservation projects and would like to try BSFs.

many thanks
Gerry
If you can assist Gerry, please contact him on 0424 400 794.......or email him on gerry@frogs.org.au.

Hi everyone - still no luck

ANYONE? has BSFs at the moment? - will trade for whatever you like - we have cash, mealworms, crickets and we will pay all freight etc. and have them picked up from your door.

many thanks
Gerry Marantelli

Hi Gerry,

I will see if I can crank up our BioPod again in the hope that we can get you some BSF larvae.

Bear with me and I'll see what we can do.

Hi all - A gentleman phoned and left a message about sending me some BSFs, I have lost the message - it was deleted by my phone bank - as i was away from work for a week with sick family. If you could contact me again it would be appreciated.
