So I have previously had a three bed, 2500litre tank system set up at the old house but the house was sold and i have moved to new premises. So I fortunately had some overlap time and took the time to establish a standby system to move my fish and gravel to while i took my time to establish the new permanent system perfectly (or close to it any way)

Basically it is an IBC running flood and drain to a bathtub half ful of gravel and half full of hydroton. it took a little while to cycle and lost a goldfish in the process but if that is all the fish i loose in the move than i will be happy.

That is a nice solid grow bed frame.

I like how the levels of the landscaping let it drain right back to the right spot. That's a good design plan.

yeah that spot used to have dirt up to level you can see in the right of the photo, it took some work to dig it out because once you get below 10cm of top soil it was solid clay.

Yeah the stand is meade of 200 x50mm sleepers for the horizontal stuff and 100x100 for the up rights, I stil worry about lateral movement but with the weight in it it does not move a lot,

have been feeding the fish automatically with a little feeder for a few days so have not seen them eating but gave them a bit by hand the other day and they smashed it, it must be coming into summer. Happy days.
