What i mean or was thinking it could be a info sorce for local suppliers eg clay balls fingerlings and hatchery details climate info with when u plant what etc etc etc

u would still be able to read it and post in it hamish so u dont feel left out!!! this would also help u possibly Hamish too

Wouldn't it become like a whole lot of little forums and in the end not encourage useful info exchange with the wider forum community ?
We have members from USA and Europe....should we start a separate section for them also ?
I feel that it provides a lot of interest seeing how people from other places set up their systems etc.....

down our way we cant plant what u plant at the same time so planting info, local insect problems, which hatchery do u use , where not to go if u have had bad experience(not sure legally where u would stand on names)
There are some dodgy hydro shops in SA (funny that) that aint to safe so if ur growing the correct plants u probably want to go to a reputable hydro shop etc.

it wont be for local system banter or anything like that pure useful info
i could mod the sa 1 hamish might like to mod qld etc.

as u and gary do a **** load of work already.

I've established an SA-specific thread in the General Aquaponics area of the forum......see here (http://www.aquaponicshq.com/forums/showthread.php?t=549).

We are happy for local AP suppliers and hatchery operators to be mentioned in the normal course of posting.

Criticism of suppliers (or anyone else for that matter) is best avoided. As operators of other forums have discovered, such behaviour is likely to result in legal action.

Since the new thread is just like any other thread, no change to the moderation arrangements are necessary at this stage.
