Anyone got a classic winter warmer recipe?
Soups, stews, curries etc
Using backyard produce of course..... with meat (optional)

I have always been partial to mashed potatoe - however in the process of loosing 12kg over 12 weeks on the Tony Ferguson diet I had to learn a few new tricks to lower carbs in the diet.
Here is a recipe for 'Notatoes' a substitute for mashed potatoe that tastes excellent but has very few carbs for those on a diet.
Take 1 cauliflower. Trim all leaves and stalks and steam until tender.
Place steamed cauliflower in a blender with 1 clove of crushed garlic and half a tub (100g) of low fat philidelphia creme cheese.
Blend until the consistancy of mashed potatoe.
Serve with sprinkling of cut chives.
Enjoy.

Try bite size fresh Cauliflower or Brocoli rosettes, par boiled or Microwaved to heat through while still remaining firm. Coat with seasoned beaten egg and deep fry until golden brown. You may never eat cauli again any other way!
