Hi all,

I'm trying to decide what material to use to cover my greenhouse in. Flyscreens to expensive and I think it will block to much light. I did a search on the forum but came up with not much.

Gary, in your System #2 you use a clear plastic, it looks like its clear PVC, is it? and where did you get yours from?

If anyone else has suggestions for greenhouse covering material I'd be more than thankful to hear them :D

Cheers,

Duncan.

Redpath for Greenhouse material Ph 5546 5011 Marcel van Dyke is the Qld rep.
We were selling it on our website, but the freight was a killer for us and we could not remain competitive.

Hi Duncan,

The material that is on my mini-greenhouse (and my various other small temperature control devices) is the top grade of Redpatrh greenhouse fabric. It's good and it's guaranteed for several years but it is fairly heavy.

You may be better off with a slightly lighter variety.....and it will be cheaper, too.

Gary

Thanks to both of you for your replies. I'll get onto redpath tomorrow and see what I can sort out.

Cheers,

Duncan.
