Hi,

For the uninitiated, bio-film is a build up of suspended solids that occurs in pipes, hoses and fittings.

It may eventually build up to the point where it restricts or blocks the flow of water through the pipe or hose.

When it dries, it will also break loose and cause blockages.

I'm a little surprised there was not any comment on this thread. I see a lot of suspended solids in my water that the net just won't get. I recall seeing another thread somewhere here where someone was using a mit or sock of some kind to maintain their system for this problem.
I would prefer to prevent if possible than react after the system is malfunctioning. I was wondering what do all of ya'll do about this?
