My bell syphon worked well for 2 months then kept running all the time,i checked it out and found a small air hole at top of the syphon tube, fixed that and now it works but when the syphon stops it only stops for about 15 second then starts to dump the water again.
anyone have any ideas, i cant figure it out.

Hi Terry,

It sounds like the syphon effect is not breaking properly. Perhaps the flow is a bit fast. Try diverting some of the water that runs through the syphon (to slow down the rate of flow) and see if that makes any difference.

I love auto-syphons.....I can watch and listen to them for hours.....but for sheer simplicity and reliability, I've found that continuous flow is the way to go (for me at least).
