Good day all, my name is Dubi and I finally got my first grow bed in working order this week end .

My system is a nice DIY project with materials that you doe not always need to buy new.

Please feel free to give me advice on my system if you see something missing or if you have a idea of something that would work better.

Here is the maximum space that i have available at the back of my house.

Fish dam made with IBR sheeting 500 high x 1500 dia.

Grow bed frame made with 25 x 25 x 2.5 square tubing.

Made further progress with the grow beds.

near completion for the fish dam and completing the grow beds.

Completed the grow beds water return. completed the fish dam . connected the pumps and put some fish in.

washed the gravel to get all the sand out. was hard work but made it to complete one grow bed, will clean the other grow beds sand as the week goes.

switched the pump on that gives my grow beds water from the fish dam and my System floods and drains in 18 min.

Thanks allot , I started washing my second grow beds rock, i will probably be finished at the end of the week with all 3 grow beds,

I planted in the firs grow bed, beans , tomato , lettuce , spinach and onions.

What is the time for the seedlings to start coming up?

it is 2 days in now the seedlings.any advice on start up ?
