I have a 125 gallon aquarium with a few tilapia. I just ordered some more fingerlings but I am also interested in yellow and white Perch. Can they be grown together? Are the conditions for the tilapia conducive for perch growth and if so where can I get some perch fingerlings to buy? Is there other fish you would recommend to grow with tilapia?

I've had goldfish and sunfish(redear) with mine, no major issues other than a racoon getting in my greenhouse and eating my sunfish. He left the goldfish alone. The goldfish were bigger, guess even a wild racoon can get picky.

Tilapia prefer warm water while yellow perch and white perch (which is actually a bass) prefer cool water.

You can grow them together as long as you aren't expecting any successful reproduction from your tilapia... but you will have to compromise on a temperature.
