I would almost bet that they are a genetic base from the Chitralada. Everything I see points me to think they are Chitralada.

Generally speaking the Chitralada will be a bit lighter than the GIFT strain, which definitely favors Chitralada based on your pics, but regional adaptations of the GIFT strain have also tended towards a lighter colored fish over time. It is also extremely common practice to cross the two. Regardless, if you have pure Chitralada, GIFT or a cross of the two, they come from very good stock.![]()
Yeh it's pretty scary to see such perfect vegetables. My father in law has a farm in Eelaan, I often work there and at times can't breath form the poisons neighboring farmers are spraying on their crops.
Looks like my system is going to be shut down, neighbor keeps complaining about the noise of the air pump. So after a year of listening to this over and over. I going to shut the system down. Anyone in Taiwan want an excellent AP system?

Fair enough Pugo,
If it's any help I had the same issue and had to dismantle my IBC's move them and start up my original system in the original spot when I started for the exact same reason.... and now I am also looking (and/or looking and saving) for quieter air pumps...
Cheers.
Hi Pugo,
It's great to hear from you, mate!
What a coincidence? I just happen to take delivery of 50 day-old quail the same day you show up again - after a prolonged absence.
Why don't you try and find another quieter air pump?
Still tossing around the bee thing?

Hi Pugo
Bad luck with your neighbours, It is a shame they can spoil a great hobby for you. I hope they are also quiet and don't ever bother you, with their noise. Sometimes those who complain are the greatest offenders themselves. Yapping dogs and noisy domestics etc.
All the best Joey.
Yeah, actually the bee thing is doing okay Gary it has moved from two hives to eight hives already. My neighbor isn't disturbed by the sound during the day but once everything is quiet about 2am and it is the only noise around she can hear it. I sleep right over it and I can't hear the system at all.

Could you move the air pump inside......or conceal it inside of a soundproofed box to deaden the noise?
You could throttle back on the stocking density and shut the air pump off at night - just relying on the movement of water to aerate your system.
My current air pump is so quiet, you need to touch it to know that it's operating (aside from the spectacle of the bubbles in the tanks).
